Team Bowman vs. Team Landes: The Big Game
You may have noticed that we've been somewhat divided here at The Hills Market recently. Half of our Professional Foodies and Customer Service specialists have been identifying with a certain "Team Bowman," and the other half with "Team Landes." These teams, in honor of Bowman & Landes Free-Range Turkeys, put on our first-ever Hills Market Turkey Bowl. Look below to see a few images of the football game - and to find out which team turned out victorious.
Buy Ohio, Feed Ohio!

Seafood Savings.
From October 16, 2010 until November 20, 2010, The Hills Market Seafood Department would like to offer our customers increased savings on all the fresh seafood that you purchase. To do so, we are introducing our Seafood Club Card.
This card will offer you savings of $1.00, $2.00 or $3.00 per pound, depending on how many punches you have received on your card. Each time you make a seafood purchase, your card will be punched at the seafood counter and the cost of your purchase per pound will be reduced by the amount indicated on your card. (Some restrictions apply.)

Eat Local Challenge.
Our friends at Local Matters work all year round to promote Ohio-grown foods and healthy eating throughout Central Ohio, but one week a year, they create a week-long pep rally for local foods and bring us Local Foods Week. This year, they've put forth a challenge to any and all to Make a Commitment to Local Foods. They've created a pledge card that suggests ten ways to to eat local this month. We at The Hills Market are thrilled to cheer along and help provide ways to fulfill the goals of the Eat Local Challenge.
We mark our Ohio products to make it simple to eat local every month of the year. Below are just a few of our favorites, as well as three ways to complete the pledge here at The Hills Market.
