Wednesday Lunch Pop-Up: Freedom a la Cart.

We're welcoming another restaurant to the rotation of lunch Pop-Ups at The Hills Market Worthington: Freedom a la Cart. Around since 2011, Freedom a la Cart serves locally sourced fare around the city with one goal in mind: to employ survivors of human trafficking. This extention of doma international allows team members to learn holistic job and life skills as they re-enter the workforce. Under the leadership of Chef Laura Yazvac the folks at Freedom produce an array of salads and sandwiches with seasonal and organic ingredients boasting bold flavors.

Visit Freedom a la Cart on our Veranda at The Hills Market Worthington Wednesdays this summer from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Introducing: Granary Grill.

Things are heating up on The Veranda as we roll out this summer's selection of top-notch foodies. Dine al fresco at The Hills Market Worthington with the city's most exciting food entrepreneurs.

First up, Granary Grill. Fast and fresh is the name of the game for this duo of MBAs from OSU. Dan Kurth and Todd Mills bring a passion for Ohio ingredients and delicious meals served on the go. Their seasonal farm fare menu features bowls and salads topped with grilled Ohio meats, as well as unique tacos.

TRY: Napa Slaw with Grilled Gerber Chicken and their Ohio Fruit Sodas made with their artisanal shrubs.
Granary Grill will be open every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Copper River Love.

It's Copper River season again! Stop by both locations for our Fresh Wild Copper River Sockeye Salmon.

Wild-caught in Alaska's famed Copper River, this Sockeye boasts premium flavor and dense, moist meat with a rich and nutty flavor. It lends itself perfectly to nearly any method of cooking, but is especially good for the grill. Why is this salmon so special? Every year, they swim up the rapids of the 300-mile Copper River. As a consequence, they're stronger than most varieties and filled with fatty and good-for-you Omega-3 oils.

Fresh Off The Press.

It's been a big week for some of our favorite vendors and partners. Columbus Crave came out with their new Tastemakers edition, and we're happy to say that we've been rubbing elbows with the folks who are making the Central Ohio food scene better every day.

First up in the magazine's series of inspirational foodies is our very own Cara Mangini of Little Eater Salads. Whether you know her from her Pop-Up (Little Eatery) on our Veranda last summer or from her excellent salads available at both stores, you know that she's going places. Bonus: We're excited to announce that Cara will be opening Little Eatery at The Hills Market Downtown this summer. Stay tuned!

New on our Pop-Up lunch itinerary this summer are the folks at Freedom a la Cart. The food cart run in conjunction with Doma International will be roosting at The Hills Market Worthington for Wednesday lunch starting June 5th. Crave honors Freedom's Executive Chef Lara Yazvac in their series.

Finally, the magazine introduces Tyrone and Marcella Jackson of The Good Frank. We're thrilled to be one of the first retailers in Columbus to carry their home-grown hot dogs (vegetarian and not). Want 'em hot? We serve them up weekly at Beer & Brats, our weekly craft beer tasting at The Hills Market Worthington.
