See what we did there? It's Autumn, and time for pears. Woody has six different varieties right now, and we want you to come in, select your favorites and take them home to ripen. (A perfectly ripe pear may only be so for a few hours; to find one ready to eat is an art.)

Asian Pear: best peeled and eaten raw, not good for cooking because of its grainy texture
Bartlett Pear: dessert pear, good for cooking, has a musky flavor
